Dear Colleagues,
As Nominating Chair, I am beginning preparations for the annual MPPA Elections for 2024.
I must submit a formal report to the President in time for it to be circulated to the full regular membership no later than thirty days before the November meeting, scheduled for November 20, 2024. I understand that we are all very busy and that it takes true dedication to volunteer your time. I also know that each of you is devoted to MPPA and everything it represents.
Please consider running or nominating someone for the following Officer and Board positions:
- President-Elect – This individual will become President in January 2026.
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Two (2) Director Positions (three-year term to expire in 2027)
If you are interested in serving the Association in 2025, please contact me via email at michelle.frierson1@maryland.gov, with a copy to president@Mppainc.org. The deadline for submitting nominations is 3:00 p.m. on October 17, 2024. Nominations received after this date may not be considered.
